In other Motorola news, the company’s Enterprise Mobility unit announced plans to demonstrate new voice over Wi-Fi products at Voicecon, the IP telephony and converged networks conference in Orlando that starts today.
As part of the company’s 2-year road map for product releases, Motorola announced a dual-mode Wi-Fi/cellular handset, which the company said will be part of its Total Enterprise Access and Mobility product line. The TEAM line also includes new architecture, security and management products that will work with the company’s existing voice and data infrastructure solutions.
Motorola has said it expects the first dual-mode handsets to be available in the third quarter of this year.
