The new Motorola Renegade V950 phone is Sprint Nextel’s newest ruggedized offering for push-to-talk customers.
The phone’s resistance to dust, shock, vibration and rain all conform to U.S. military specifications, Sprint said.
In addition to its industrial usage, the phone also has typical consumer features such as Sprint’s Music storage and television/radio options. Other features include GPS, a 2.0-MP camera and instant messaging.
Prices start at $129.99 with a 2-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate.
Motorola’s cool and rugged phones aside, Sprint is still considering selling the Nextel division.
