Nokia announced that it is in talks with more music labels about including their tracks through its Comes With Music unlimited download service. As part of Nokia’s push into mobile services, the handset maker announced a DRM-free, unlimited music download service in partnership with Universal Music Group that is expected to be available later this year. Comes With Music will initially be launched with select Nokia music-enabled handsets.
A Nokia executive told the Financial Times that the company is in discussions with “all the majors and a number of indies.”
Last week, music label EMI announced that it was in discussions with Nokia about participating in the new service.
