Revenue was $19 million, up from $17.4 million in the second quarter and $16 million a year ago. The company now has 700,000 connections, of which 85,000 were new in the quarter.
“We are pleased with the Company’s overall quarterly performance and to report strong M2M activity across our traditional and newly-opened markets,” said Stratton Nicolaides, Numerex CEO.
The company recently acquired Ublip to improve its software and services capabilities, but that was after the quarter ended.
Numerex’s current focus is on geographic and vertical expansion, officials said.
