Orange and T-Mobile UK today unveiled a joint venture name, as well as a plan that outlines the future for the recently merged companies. According to a press release, Orange and T-Mobile will now be known as “Everything Everywhere,” which they bill as “one company, running two of Britain’s most famous brands, Orange and T-Mobile.”
There is a new leadership team for Everything Everywhere, with key personnel from both Orange and T-Mobile. The team will be led by Tom Alexander, CEO, and Richard Moat, CFO and deputy chief executive.
Orange and T-Mobile will continue with their own shops, marketing campaigns, propositions and service centers. However, behind the scenes, the two brands will be run by one company.
As a joint venture, Everything Everywhere will overtake both Vodafone and O2 in total subscriber numbers. “Together, we are Britain’s biggest communications company, with over 30 million customers,” Alexander said in a statement.
