Our 2024 Communications Handbook is here

By Martin Rowe | May 2, 2024

EE World announces its 2024 5G, Wireless, & Wireline Communications Handbook in digital form.

Click to read or download

It’s that time again. EE World’s 2024 5G, Wireless, & Wireline Communications Handbook is here. The 41-page e-book contains ten technical articles plus an editorial. This year, we cover:

  • Network timing,
  • mmWaves (two articles),
  • Power amplifiers (three articles),
  • test & measurement (three articles),
  • Open RAN
  • 5G services
  • optical transceiver modules

Wait a minute. Why does this bulleted list appear to have more than ten articles. It’s test & measurement. Everything needs testing. In this case, it’s power amplifiers. You can classify “How do GaN PAs in 5G radios push test requirements” as both a test article and an article on PAs. In another case “Build a 5G Open RAN test lab with open-source software tools covers both test and Open RAN. You could also classify it as covering open-source software.

Read the handbook online or download a PDF copy. We’re also posting the articles on 5G Technology World. The set will be completed on May 15, 2024.

Thank you to the companies and engineers who contributed to the 2024 handbook. If you’d like to contribute a technical article to EE World, simply contact us.
