Palm’s Europe-only 1.3.5.2 update for its webOS operating system has enabled tethering using the Pre’s Bluetooth connection.
The update comes just over a week after Palm released its 1.3.5.1 North American update for the Pre and Pixi. That update did not enable Bluetooth tethering.
The European 1.3.5.2 update also makes a smattering of improvements to the App Catalog. Users can now download multiple applications at once, with the option to pause, resume and cancel downloads. The App Catalog’s search algorithms also have been improved.
The update also improves the Pre’s battery life and allows OS updates to be made over a 2G connection.
