Deutsche Telekom announced the first ever pay-as-you-go Android device, the T-Mobile Pulse. The phone is centered around social media and includes direct links to Google, Google Mail and Google Maps.
In a press release, the company said the phone will be available in October on T-Mobile UK. The carrier will offer the Pulse from €4.95 in conjunction with the Combi Flat S rate.
The Pulse is the third Android-based smartphone in T-Mobile UK’s mobile device portfolio. The HSPA technology used by the T-Mobile Pulse supports Internet connections of up to 7.2 Mbps downstream and 2 Mbps upstream. The phone features a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera, GPS receiver, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and Bluetooth.
The phone comes with a black cover, a white cover and a 2GB microSD memory card, expandable up to 16GB.
