Photos of the Day: An Inside Look at HARTING’s Roadshow Truck

By Sarah Goncalves | September 21, 2015

On Friday, September 18th, I traveled to Long Island City for the launch of HARTING‘s Roadshow Truck, which will be making its way across North America over the next several months, showcasing leading connectivity solutions.

In addition to a ribbon-cutting, the festivities included food (my personal favorite was the pesto chicken-on-a-stick), live jazz music, and tours of the inside of the truck.

Along with interchangable product displays, the truck included large, interactive touchscreens, all featuring HARTING’s new app, which allows customers to browse company information (i.e., products, press releases, and videos), as well as “drag-and-drop” customizable connectors right on the screen. Once a product is built, customers can then email the design to themselves. (HARTING President & CEO Jon DeSouza was kind enough to demonstrate this feature for me.)

While company roadshow trucks are nothing new, the interactive user-experience HARTING is offering with its “mobile tradeshow” certainly is. Check out some photos from the afternoon below.
