The race to get devices launched in September continues today, as Reuters reports Nokia will join Apple, Samsung and Sony in introducing more mobile gadgetry to the market.
According to Reuters, Nokia is set to unveil multiple Windows Phone-based Lumia devices at an event in New York City late next month. The new devices will include a phablet, according to the report, which cites people familiar with the matter.
The news follows a report from The Verge earlier this week that said Nokia is working on a 6-inch phablet, as well as a Windows RT-based tablet.
If true, Nokia will join a crowded Septemeber, as both Samsung and Sony are set for major unveilings, with Samsung reportedly set to take the wraps off a wearing wrist-watch like device.
Of course, everyone is keeping an eye on what Apple has planned for its rumored September 10 event. While the company has not confirmed the date, many believe Cupertino is set to launch a pair of new iPhones.
