Research in Motion was the top-selling wireless handset maker in the United States for the third consecutive month with the Curve being the best-selling device, according to Avian Securities in its monthly U.S. wireless handset survey.
The proprietary survey is based on responses from service representatives at retail stores of AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile.
LG ranked second in the survey, driven by demand for its new Dare device at Verizon outlets, followed by Samsung.
Other findings include:
