Rolling Stone Magazine selected SnapTell’s Snap.Send.Get mobile marketing solution to convert print ads in its magazine into mobile interactive ads. The SnapTell-enabled advertisements ran in the May 1, 2008, issue and prompted readers to take a picture of the advertisements with their cameraphones and, in return, they received customized promotional messages and offers from the advertisers.
Snap.Send.Get lets print publishers and advertisers extend the footprint of all print advertisements – every print advertising campaign now becomes an integrated, cross-media campaign. “Static print advertisements now become a measurable, 2-way communication with target consumers,” said Gautam Bhargava, CEO and co-founder of the 2-year-old SnapTell.
Participating advertisers from the May issue included Allstate Insurance, Canadian Club, DiGiorno For One, Edge Shaving Gel and Discovery Channel.
