Samsung unveiled its first HSUPA handset for the South Korean market. The HSUPA-enabled SCH-M470 is a slider handset that the company says can upload data at up to 2 Mbps over compatible HSUPA networks. For example, the handset maker said that users could upload an average MP3 file in about 30 seconds.
The SCH-M470 runs on Windows Mobile 6 and includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 2-megapixel camera. Available in South Korea, the handset is expected to cost between $615 and $715.
