Samsung also announced four new mobile phones at the CES 2008 show, including a 5-megapixel cameraphone and a touchscreen device.
The Samsung SGH-i450 is a dual slider music phone with touch-wheel navigation. When the i450 slides up, the mobile phone supports Symbian S60 OS smartphone features, running high speed data services through HSDPA connectivity. When it slides down, the phone activates as a music player.
The Samsung SGH-G800 sports a 5-megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom, offers professional video editing functions and a mobile blogging feature to enable users to easily upload content to the Web.
Samsung is also launching two Windows Mobile 6.0 smartphones: the Samsung SGH-i620 features a vertical slide design with a full QWERTY keyboard, and the SGH-i780 features a full QWERTY keyboard and touchscreen.
