Samsung has announced a new ultra thin slider handset, in advance of the Mobile World Congress. Samsung’s new Soul handset offers quad-band GSM, HSDPA, a 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus and QVGA video and a 2.2 inch touchscreen.  The touchscreen adapts to whatever application a users has open, showing the relevant controls.

Samsung did not release pricing information for the new handset, though the Soul is expected to be available beginning in April.
