Seiko Epson Selects Cypress’s Programmable Clock Generator Die for Small-Footprint Crystal Oscillator

CY5077C die enables compact size and highly accurate frequency output

SAN JOSE, Calif., November 12, 2013 – Cypress Semiconductor announced that Seiko Epson has selected Cypress’s CY5077C programmable clock generator die for the new SG-8003CG programmable crystal oscillator from its popular SG-8003 series. The easy-to-program SG-8003CG is an ultra-small programmable crystal oscillator, with a package that measures 2.5 mm x 2.0 mm x 0.8 mm. The CY5077C die delivers precise, programmable frequency output to the entire SG-8003 series. The flexible combination provides fast time-to-market and low power consumption for a wide variety of low-volume electronics equipment.
