AT&T and Verizon Wireless announced the completion of a spectrum swap following regulatory approval from the FCC and Department of Justice.
AT&T acquired licenses in the Burlington, Vt., market and in rural areas of Kentucky, New York and Washington. Verizon acquired other spectrum also in Kentucky.
The swap stems from AT&T’s acquisition of Dobson Communications and Verizon’s acquisition of Rural Cellular Corp.
