Sprint this morning is working to address service outages affecting Kansas City, St. Louis and Oklahoma City.
The Kansas City Star reports the outages began around 6 a.m. this morning due to maintenance work issues and that the carrier is currently working to restore service.
A Sprint spokeswoman told Wireless Week that all services were fully restored approximately 9:10am CT.
As the Kansas City Star pointed out in its report, earlier this month Sprint service in Minneapolis was interrupted due to the severed fiber optic line.
Sprint didn’t offer specifics on the cause of today’s outage, only calling it a “minor maintenance failure.”
