Sprint says it has something big up its sleeve for tommorow.
The company today launched a landing page on its website with a 24-hour countdown to an announcement of a new service.
The page features a small gift box, with a teaser button that reads: “Give Me A Hint.” When clicked the button reveals text that says, “If my calculations are correct, when this counter hits zero, we’re going to see some serious savings.”
Sprint’s news would come on last week’s announcement from T-Mobile that it will be offering video streaming of content from certain services that doesn’t count against the customer’s data bucket.
In reference to Sprint’s announcement tommorrow, Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure proclaimed, ““The other carriers are not going to like this…guaranteed.”
