Sprint today announced a new plan aimed at customers who don’t use a lot of data.
The new Family Share Pack brings 1GB of data for $20 and unlimited talk and texts.
Customers can add up to 10 lines to the 1GB Family Share Pack. The per-line access charge for any plan from 1GB to 16GB is $25.
Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure called the new plan an entry-level offering. “We’re offering customers a choice – whether they need a small amount of data or are a high-end data user,” he said in a press release.
AT&T currently offers a 1GB shared bucket of data for $25 as part of its Family Share plans, while Verizon offers 1GB for $40 as part of its Share Everything plans.
