Sprint is alleviating the confusion surrounding trade-in device values with a new promotion offering $200 in guaranteed savings.
According to Sprint, new and existing customers purchasing a new Samsung Galaxy S6 or Note 5 will now get a guaranteed $200 when they trade in their existing smartphone. The trade-in device must be in working order, the carrier said.
With the trade-in, the monthly cost of a Sprint Lease on the 32 GB Galaxy S6 drops to $9.67 per month for 24 months. The cost of a Sprint Lease on the 32 GB Note 5 dips to just under $17 per month with the trade-in, Sprint said.
Sprint said the deal is currently available in its retail locations and will extend to the carrier’s website and phone customer service by the end of this week.
The trade-in offer may be combined with Sprint’s promotion offering half off most AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon rate plans.
