Sprint is expanding its new unlimited smartphone plan to include availability for businesses.
The carrier on Monday announced the roll out of Unlimited Freedom for Businesses. The plan offers unlimited talk, text and data for $55 per month for the first line, $35 for the second line and $25 per line for lines three through 10. Additional lines beyond 10 can be added for $35 each, Sprint said.
Like its unlimited consumer plans, Sprint said the business plans will include optimized streaming for videos, gaming and music. The plan will also come with 5 GB of 4G LTE data for Mobile Hotspot, VPN and P2P access.
“We have witnessed an overwhelming positive response to our industry-leading Unlimited Freedom plan for consumers,” Sprint Business President Jan Geldmacher said. “And now, we’re looking forward to delivering this same type of plan to businesses.”
Sprint said it has also updated its Business Share More plans to include tiers from 20 GB for 10 lines to 500 GB for an unlimited number of lines. Unused data on those plans can be carried over to the next month, Sprint said.
The carrier said it also offers Mobility-as-a-Serice for businesses looking to find the best combination of devices, data plans and support.
The introduction of unlimited for businesses comes nearly two months after Sprint rolled out unlimited options for regular consumers in August. T-Mobile launched an unlimited plan the same day as Sprint, but does not yet appear to have made it available to business customers.
