Boost Mobile announced a new Data Boost plan that packages together unlimited talk, text and 2.5GB of high-speed data for $35 a month. Customers are required to enroll in Auto Re-Boost, the company’s auto pay platform, in order to get the rate.
The new plan goes on sale Feb. 3.
In addition, Boost is offering $100 off a new phone to customers who port over their number from any carrier and sign up for a Data Boost plan. For customers who don’t bring over an existing number, Boost is offering a free first month of service.
Sprint’s other prepaid brand, Virgin Mobile, recently announced new shared data prepaid plans, available through Walmart.
Meanwhile, this week has also seen Verizon revamp its prepaid offerings and T-Mobile’s MetroPCS introduce a $50 unlimited LTE prepaid plan.
