Straight Talk has hiked the high-speed data cap on its $45 unlimited plan from 2.5GB to an even 3GB of LTE.
Straight Talk also announced the $30 “All You Need” service plan now offers unlimited text, 1500 minutes of voice and 100MB of data.
The move to bump up its high-speed data cap comes just weeks after AT&T announced its GoPhone prepaid brand was increasing the cap on its $60 unlimited plan from 2GB to 2.5GB.
Straight Talk is an MVNO that operates on AT&T’s network.
Other prepaid brands have been busy adjusting their pricing as well. Boost Mobile just announced a new simplified pricing structure, offering $40 unlimited plans with 500MB and topping out at $60 for 5GB.
