T-Mobile on Wednesday announced that it added 1.3 million branded postpaid net customers in the fourth quarter. In all, T-Mobile said it had added 2.1 million customers in the most recent quarter.
For the full year 2014, the Un-carrier managed to pick up 8.3 million total net customer additions, including 4.9 million branded postpaid net customer additions. The company had set full-year guidance for postpaid subscribers of 4.3 to 4.7 million.
CEO John Legere said a statement that porting ratios have been in T-Mobile’s favor vs. the competition for seven consecutive quarters.For the fourth quarter of 2014, T-Mobile reported positive postpaid porting ratios of 1.4 versus Verizon, 1.8 versus AT&T, and 2.2 versus Sprint.
”We are not slowing down, and customers know it,” Legere said.
T-Mobile also said that its LTE network now covers 265 million people across the United States.
Shares of T-Mobile were up almost 2 percent in early trading Wednesday to $27.30.
T-Mobile plans to share more details and its full financial results for fourth quarter and full-year 2014 later in February.
