T-Mobile today added AccuRadio, Black Planet, Grooveshark, Radio Paradise, Rdio and Songza to the list of streaming music services that won’t affect its customers’ data buckets.
The carrier also revealed Google Play Music won its online poll to find another service to exempt. Google’s streaming music service will be added to Music Freedom later this year.
The new additions join iHeartRadio, iTunesRadio, Pandora, Rhapsody, Samsung Milk, Slacker and Spotify, which were in place when the data-free streaming program was announced two months ago.
T-Mobile said in a press release that customers have streamed seven million terabytes of music and are streaming five million more songs per day since the program launched.
Notable exceptions so far from Music Freedom include Beats Music and Amazon Music.
Shortly after the program was launched, some T-Mobile subscribers began reporting data charges incurred while listening to Spotify. T-Mobile explained those data charges could be from non-supported Spotify content like album art.
