T-Mobile is planning an extended conversation on Twitter while it announces its third quarter financial results on Oct. 28.
The carrier is promising to keep the scripted remarks to a minimum to make more time for “free-flowing dialogue” with analysts, investors, and media on the call.
T-Mobile will also be answering questions via its new investor relations Twitter account, @TMobileIR.
“We’re replacing the drone of endless scripts with open exchanges with investors, analysts and the media. And we’re doing it with mainstream, real-time, easily accessible social media like Twitter,” CEO John Legere said in a statement.
T-Mobile will publish its earnings press release Oct. 27. Earlier that day, Legere will be speaking at Recode’s Code/Mobile Conference.
