T-Mobile Launches New Promo Plans

By Staff Author | November 12, 2010

For all the reports that carriers are pulling back on their unlimited plans, T-Mobile USA took the opposite tact with new promotional plans that expand its unlimited offerings.

T-Mobile USA’s new promotional plans add unlimited night and weekend calling and unlimited calls between T-Mobile customers to its $79.99 per month 1,500 individual Even More plan and its $149.99 per month 3,000 family Even More plan.

The promotional plans will be available beginning Sunday, Nov. 14, and will only be available for a limited time, though T-Mobile did not specify when the trial would end. Customers must agree to a two-year contract to take advantage of the plans.

T-Mobile’s current Even More plans offer unlimited text messages and mobile Internet access with a limited number of voice minutes. In its announcement of the plans, T-Mobile pitted the promotions against comparable offers from AT&T and Verizon Wireless, which offer fewer minutes.

T-Mobile’s previously announced plans for mobile data, tethering and Wi-Fi sharing will also become available on Sunday. The carrier’s mobile data plans start at $10 per month for 200MB with a new two-year contract or $15 per month without a contract extension. T-Mobile is also offering unlimited data for $30 per month.

T-Mobile’s tethering and Wi-Fi sharing plans can be added to its postpaid and prepaid unlimited mobile Internet plans for $14.99 per month.
