T-Mobile USA today launched the T-Mobile Gravity 2 from Samsung. The messaging phone with a slide-out qwerty keyboard is priced at $29.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a two-year contract.

The device comes in berry mauve and metallic pumpkin and is available online or at T-Mobile retail locations.

The Gravity 2 features a 2-megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom and video capture, stereo Bluetooth, microSD slot for up to 16 GB of optional removable memory and a music player with support for MP3, AAC and AAC+.

The device also supports SMS, MMS, video messaging, instant messaging (IM) and e-mail and offers Web access through T-Mobile web2go.
