T-Mobile sent out invitations for its next Uncarrier announcement, taking place Sept. 10 in San Francisco.
As usual, T-Mobile is being cryptic about what Uncarrier 7.0 will be. The invitation only notes that “This time it’s personal.”
This will be the first official Uncarrier announcement since late June saw T-Mobile announce a 7-day test drive for its network and the end of data plan charges for streaming music.
The carrier has since expanded the original lineup of music services included in Music Freedom, adding Rdio and six others as well as announcing Google Play Music as the winner of the customer poll. T-Mobile will add Google’s streaming service to Music Freedom later this year.
News of the next official Uncarrier event comes after a busy few weeks for T-Mobile. The carrier has announced unlimited data for customers getting subscribers to switch to T-Mobile, more data for Simple Starter plans, and matching data plans up to 5GB for customers adding a tablet.
