U.S. Cellular today announced that it will begin offering wireless serivce through RadioShack retail outlets.
According to a statement from a U.S. Cellular spokeswoman, the regional carrier’s postpaid service is now available in 83 RadioShack locations across 12 states, including California, Illinois, Kansas, Maine, Missouri, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Virginia, Wisconsin and West Virginia.
Customers who purchase their service through RadioShack can choose from a variety of devices, including the Samsung Galaxy S 5 and iPhone 5s.
U.S. Cellular also offers Shared Connect plans that include unlimited minutes and messaging and provide customers flexibility in choosing a data plan to match how they use their wireless devices.
U.S. Cellular recently lowered the cost of its Shared Connect plans to be more in line with AT&T and Verizon’s offerings. A family of four can now have unlimited voice and messaging and share 10 GB of data for $140 per month with U.S. Cellular.
