Verizon Wireless over the weekend opened up a limited time offer that bumps up the data buckets on its $80 and $100 More Everything plans. The $80 plan now gets 10GB of data and the $100 plan now gets 15GB.
The increases to Verizon’s lower tier shared data plans come after the carrier last month joined AT&T and Sprint in doubling the amount of data with its top-tier shared plans.
AT&T last week also made some tweaks to its low-end Mobile Share plans and is for a limited time offering 3GB of shared data for $40 and 6GB for $70.
As the carriers compete in price matching, Verizon is throwing in a $150 credit for customers who port over their numbers and sign up for a two-year contract or buy a device through the Edge EIP program.
