The Samsung Fascinate from Verizon Wireless will be available online tomorrow and in Verizon retail stores on Sept. 9 for $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.

Powered by Android 2.1 (Eclaire), the Fascinate features a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen, a 1 GHz Hummingbird processor, 5-megapixel camera, hot spot technology, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Additionally, the Fascinate will come pre-loaded with Amazon’s Kindle for Android app.

Verizon Wireless will feature a range of accessories for the Fascinate, including a charging cradle for $29.99, a car dock for $39.99 and a backup battery charging system that sells for $39.99.

Verizon Wireless today became the fourth major U.S. carrier to announce the launch of its version of the Samsung Galaxy S series, the Samsung Fascinate. The Fascinate follows on the heels of Galaxy S phones released on AT&T (Captivate), T-Mobile USA (Vibrant) and Sprint (Epic 4G).
