Verizon Wireless today posted specs for the forthcoming HTC Incredible on the company’s Web site. The new Android smartphone will pack a 3.7-inch 480×800 WVGA OLED touchscreen, qwerty keyboard, 8MP camera w/auto–focus and video capture, 8MB of internal memory and a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. The Incredible will run on Android 2.1.
The Incredible comes with the social-oriented HTC Sense UI, which integrates Google, Exchange & Facebook contacts. Additionally, the HTC Incredible supports Bluetooth Profiles for wireless headsets, hands–free accessories, stereo and phonebook access. It does not support all object exchange (OBEX) profiles.
A “Coming Soon” preview page on Verizon’s Web site puts official launch of the Incredible, which it bills as the “next chapter in Android,” at April 29. There is no official word on pricing.
