Verizon Wireless today launched its month-to-month service option for customers not interested in signing a 1- or 2-year service contract.
The agreement lets customers purchase new devices at full retail price, or use their own CDMA devices without signing a contract. Customers also can terminate their service at the end of any month without paying an Early Termination Fee (ETF).
Verizon Wireless has led the way for U.S. wireless operators in handling ETFs by first pro-rating them in 2006 and then ultimately eliminating them last year.
The month-to-month agreement is available for all Verizon Wireless plans.
