Wilson Electronics introduced a battery pack accessory that brings more portability to two of the company’s most popular boosters at CTIA Wireless 2011.
The Wilson portable battery pack weighs about 4 ounces when loaded with four standard AAA batteriesand will operate theSleeksignal booster for two hours of fully powered connection timeand up to six hours in standby mode. The device, which measures just under 3 inches tall by 2 inches wideand 0.5 inches thick, will have an MSRP of about $19.95.
The battery pack, available early in the second quarter, combined with the Sleek (2.5 ounces) will provide a fully portable cellular signal boosting solution to workers and recreationists who need connectivity in weak signal areas while away from a building or vehicle, the company says. The battery pack also will power the MobilePro signal booster and connects to each device via a USB cord supplied with each product. When connected to the MobilePro, the battery pack will give about 1 hour of full powered connection time and 3 hours of idle time.
Wilson also is exhibiting its solutions for improving cellular coverage, including 4G.
