Windows 10 is now installed on 75 million devices, Windows corporate vice president of marketing Yusuf Mehdi said on Twitter Wednesday.
The new operating system was launched less than a month ago. In a series of 10 facts about Windows 10, Mehdi also revealed that the program is running in 192 countries across the globe on more than 90,000 unique PC and tablet devices.
According to Mehdi the Windows Store for Windows 10 has seen 6 times more app downloads per device than Windows 8.
The mobile version of the operating system has yet to be released, but Business Insider reported Wednesday that the update from Windows 8.1 will require 8 gigabytes of internal storage.
This means the update could pose a problem for several Windows handsets, such as the HTC 8S and Nokia Lumia 530, which carry only 4 GB of internal storage.
