Aegis Software Wins 12th Consecutive Service Excellence Award

By Staff Author | April 2, 2012

Aegis Software is honored to announce their twelfth consecutive win of Circuit Assembly Magazine’s Service Excellence award, confirming their position as the industry leader in Manufacturing Operations Software. The award, which reflects software quality, support and overall customer satisfaction, is of unique value as it is the industry’s only one to be based on actual customer feedback.

The 2012 ceremony took place on February 28th during the IPC APEX show at the San Diego Convention Center. Aegis Software’s unbroken track record in winning is particularly impressive as it means that they have won every year since the automation and manufacturing software category first appeared in 2000. The award is based on results from an independent survey company which polls a randomly selected set of industry customers in depth. Proceeds support the SMTA Charles Hutchins Scholarship grant, with more than $60,000 awarded to date.

“It is a great honor to have won this award for twelve consecutive years and an accomplishment that we are truly proud of.” commented Brian Backenstose, Aegis VP of Services Division. “Aegis’ has highly skilled and driven support staff and development engineers that make this feat possible. What’s equally as important as winning is to be sure not to take that winning for granted. We will continue to listen to our customer base as we evolve our product and improve our support practices.”
