If screenshots from German mobile tech website Mobile Geeks are to be believed, Apple is already beta testing a new Android app for its Apple Music service.
The news follows the June release of the Apple Music app for iPhone and a promise from Apple that an Android-compatible app would follow this fall.
Last week, Apple CEO Tim Cook announced the streaming service is already serving 15 million users, including 6.5 million paying subscribers and 8.5 million customers on three-month trials.
The screenshots posted by Mobile Geeks appear to show an app very similar to the iPhone version, with access to Apple’s Beats 1 Radio, and recommendations for new and personalized music selections.
The anticipated release will be just the second Apple app for Android, but will mimic Apple’s move to make iTunes available on Windows computers.
