Continuing an industry trend towards low-end, affordable smartphones, AT&T today added Pantech’s first Android device to its portfolio, the Pantech Crossover.
The Crossover will sell for $69.99 on a two-year contract. The phone comes running Android 2.2 (Froyo) and features a 3.1-inch touchscreen, slide-out qwerty keyboard, 600 MHz processor, 3-megapixel camera, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The Crossover also features AT&T Mobile Hotspot to connect up to five Wi-Fi enabled devices for customers who choose a tethering plan.
The Crossover will be available online and in retail stores beginning June 5.
