Best Buy Launches Presale for Fascinate

Best Buy Mobile today launched a presale of the Samsung Fascinate, Verizon Wireless’ upcoming version of the Samsung Galaxy S line. Best Buy Reward Zone members can reserve the Samsung Fascinate on August 27. Presale for general public begins August 29.

Pre-orders can be made by visiting Best Buy stores. Pricing and launch dates for the Samsung Fascinate will be announced soon.

The Galaxy S phones feature similar hardware, but many expect Samsung to expand on the line in the near future. The Vibrant from T-Mobile, the Captivate from AT&T, and now the Fascinate from Verizon Wireless all feauture 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreens, Android 2.1 and Samsung’s 1GHz Hummingbird processor.

The Samsung Epic 4G from Sprint, features support for Sprint’s WiMax service, as well as a slide-out qwerty keyboard.

The Captivate and the Vibrant currently sell for the $199 with a 2-year contract at their respective carriers. The Samsung Epic 4G sells for $249 with a 2-year contract at Sprint.
