Research In Motion today announced its long-expected flip phone, the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220. It will be carried by T-Mobile this fall.
The phone is a quad-band EDGE device with dual color displays. The external screen shows call previews and the internal screen has 240 x 320 resolution.
Other features include Wi-Fi, the DataViz Documents to Go software suite for editing Microsoft Office files, a 2-MP camera and memory card slot.
Research In Motion also said BlackBerry phones now can access AOL’s e-mail and instant messaging services.
