Good Technology announced it has acquired CloudSync, a Denver -based mobile device management company. Terms of the deal were not released.
Good Technology says the acquisition complements its own Good for Enterprise solution and reinforces its position as “the only solution enterprises need to meet all of their mobile security, management, collaboration and application access needs.”
CloudSync enables customers to deploy, manage, control, locate and support a range of mobile devices anywhere in the world through a Web-based mobile device management system. CloudSync supports Microsoft Windows mobile devices, Windows laptops and BlackBerry devices. Combined with Good, the company plans to extend its support to iPhone, Android, Symbian and webOS devices in the coming months.
Once owned by Motorola, Good Technology was acquired by Visto last February. The companies adopted the Good Technology name and went on to acquire mobile social network connectivity firm Intercasting in May. In July, the company settled its long-standing patent litigation with Research In Motion (RIM).
