Anonymous hacker team AntiSec, an offshoot of LulzSec, the now-defunct mastermind behind several high-profile security breaches, today Tweeted that it had hacked an Apple server.
The group posted a document that allegedly contained a link to an Apple server along with a list of 26 user names and passwords.
In its posting on Twitter, the group said it had accessed Apple’s servers through a security hole in software the company uses. The group went on to say that it wouldn’t pursue Apple’s security any further, tweeting, “But don’t worry, we are busy elsewhere.”
Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment and the company has yet to release an official statement on the breach.
