Motorola Solutions’ profit more than doubled in the second quarter compared with a year ago, and the company expects third-quarter sales to grow between 7 and 8 percent over the third quarter of 2010.
The company’s enterprise segment performed particularly well in the second quarter of 2011, with sales of $747 million, up 11 percent from the year-ago quarter.
