Qwest Communications is still considering changes to its wireless partnership. CEO Ed Mueller reportedly said this week that several carriers have approached the company about partnering for wireless services, including AT&T.
Qwest has been in a partnership with Sprint Nextel since 2004 to resell wireless services, but the telecom announced last week that it was looking to possibly change its wireless arrangement, including looking to other partners.
Verizon CEO Ivan Seidenberg announced that he has been in talks with Mueller, and now Qwest has said it has been discussing a possible partnership with AT&T. Mueller reportedly called the iPhone a “leader.”
Qwest has said it is looking for a better access to top-of-the-line devices. The company is still in talks with Sprint about changing its current partnership agreement.
