Sprint today took the wraps off its 25th WiMAX-capable device, the Samsung Conquer 4G. The new handset will be available for $99.99 beginning Aug. 21.
The new smartphone comes running 2.3 (Gingerbread), is powered by a 1GHz processor and offers Sprint ID. It features an enhanced 3.5-inch touchscreen, 3.2-megapixel rear-facing camera with flash and zoom and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera enabling video chat.
Additional features include Wi-Fi, GPS, a MicroSD card slot that supports up to a 32GB memory card (2GB card included), Bluetooth and 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot capable, supporting up to five devices.
Sprint’s WiMAX service is now available in 71 markets across the United States.
