Call them tricks or treats, AT&T today rolled out a pair of new Mobile Share Value plans.
Beginning Sunday, AT&T will offer a 3GB plan for $40 a month and a 6GB plan for $70 a month. That price doesn’t include per-month device charges.
AT&T breaks it down as follows: “If you buy a smartphone on AT&T Next and sign up for the Mobile Share Value plan with 3GB of data, you’ll pay $65 a month for your wireless service on that smartphone.”
The carrier also said it’s extending its Double the Data offer on Mobile Share Value plans from 15GB to 50GB until Nov. 15, 2014.
The battle of plans and pricing continues across the industry, as carriers seek to offer more data for less and fill in gaps in their offerings.
Most recently Verizon tweaked its More Everything plans, while also adding per-line discounts for customers on the company’s Edge device financing program.
