AT&T Launches New Individual Mobile Share Plans: 2GB for $65

By Andrew Berg | March 8, 2014

AT&T Saturday announced a new Mobile Share Value plan that starts at $65 for 2GB of data and unlimited talk and text. The new plan amounts to a $15 per-month savings from existing plans.

According to a press release the new plans will be available to customers beginning on Sunday. Customers who select the plan can add an additional smartphone to the plan for an additional $25.

AT&T customers with a compatible device can also sign up for 50GB of cloud storage at no additional charge.

Additionally, AT&T recently added unlimited international messaging (text, picture and video) to all Mobile Share Value plans for no additional cost.

Unlimited international messaging includes messages sent from the U.S., Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands to more than 190 countries for text messages and 120 countries for picture & video messages.

The plans come in the wake of another set of revamped Mobile Share Value plans AT&T introduced last month, which start at $130 per month for two lines with 10 GB of data and unlimited talk and text.

AT&T isn’t the only one hacking away at prices. Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon have all recently rolled out new offerings. Verizon most recently introduced new 3G prepaid plans that start at $45.
