First News Briefs: Adobe, Lookout, AT&T, Airbiquity, NissanConnect, Verizon, Cloudera, Rogers

Adobe today launched Adobe Mobile services for Adobe Marketing Cloud which it says will help marketers better understand and improve user engagement with mobile apps. Adobe Mobile services introduces a series of app-centric capabilities including a new user interface for mobile teams, app experience targeting based on GPS location, and audience testing to deliver optimized experiences. The new, cloud-based service is available today and fully integrated with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target. Additional support for solutions that provide mobile capabilities including Adobe Campaign and Adobe Experience Manager is expected in 2014.

Lookout Inc., a provider of mobile security, today announced AT&T is delivering the consumer application, Lookout Mobile Security, to Android customers.

Airbiquity, Inc., a provider of connected vehicle services, today announced the international rollout of the NissanConnect Apps service powered by Airbiquity’s Smartphone Integration solution and Choreo private cloud platform.

Verizon Enterprise Solutions today announced a collaboration with Cloudera, a provider of enterprise analytic data management powered by Apache Hadoop, to provide cloud-based big data analytics services to Verizon Cloud clients.

Rogers announced today that its suretap wallet, the first mobile wallet from a carrier in Canada, will be available to customers in the coming weeks. suretap wallet will be available on select NFC-enabled smartphones and will offer a co-branded virtual Rogers Prepaid MasterCard and gift cards from select national retailers as the first cards available for download.
